Billing FAQ

When am I billed?

Monthly on the day you start a paid subscription, or annually up front. The 14-day trial is free and does not require a card — you add billing details only when the trial ends.

Can I change tiers?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. Seat counts can go up any time and down at renewal.

Do you offer annual discounts?

Annual plans are billed up front at two months off — roughly a 17% discount on Team and Business. Enterprise agreements are always annual and priced per negotiation.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards via Stripe for monthly plans. Annual and Enterprise customers can pay by ACH, wire, or invoice on net-30 terms.

Is there a nonprofit or student discount?

The Open Source tier is free forever and covers most individual and OSS use cases. Registered nonprofits and accredited students can email sales@aioptimize.dev for a 50% discount on Team.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, from the dashboard. Monthly subscriptions end at the close of the current period. Annual plans do not auto-renew without an explicit setting.
